LOCAL • MADE IN MADISON
Change Boutique is excited to partner with the University of Wisconsin Retail and Apparel Design students in creating unique fashion forward pieces that are tailored to suit the needs and aesthetics of our customer.
Under the direction of 12 year fashion industry veteran, Liz Truong, we are excited to offer an authentic hands on internship where students can experience all aspects of garment development, production and retailing. Each semester, our talented team creates mini-capsules utilizing thrift store finds, leftover remnants and upcycled materials whenever possible.
INTERNATIONAL • MADE IN VIETNAM
Our overseas producer group Fair Fashion shares our fervent drive for social justice and we are so proud to partner with them.
Studio & Creative Director, Liz Truong, had the honor of meeting with Marc Blanchard, Director of Fair Fashion, and establish the foundations of our shared mission to use fashion to create opportunities to help those in need.
As part of the French NGO "Alliance Anti Trafic" (AAT), Fair Fashion was established in 2005 to create employment for female victims of sex trafficking being reintegrated into society.
Their goal is to develop a unique and sustainable enterprise where employees and working conditions are of primary importance. All profits are donated back to AAT to fund traffic prevention and intervention programs that they provide throughout Asia.
